All classes in the winter semester will be held remotely using the IT systems available at the University. To help you find your way around all the platforms you will have to use, we have prepared a short guide for you. You will find practical tips on how to use it:

USOS - University Study Support System is a software that supports the process of managing the course of studies. The system contains all information about the courses offered by the University, classes, study programs, it stores the data of employees and students, issued grades and credits, class schedules, student payments, staff information and others.

How and when to use the USOSweb? Every user has access to the general information of the USOSweb website. Only logged in users have access to detailed personal and program information. In order to be able to log into the USOSweb and have access to more information, an identifier (album number) and a password must be generated according to the instructions:

The USOSweb service will provide you with access to some of this information via the website: https://usosweb.upjp2.edu.pl

login: your ID number
password: you must generate a password yourself.
A password will be created on your first login. Choose student's account and start „forgotten password” procedure. Enter your e-mail address (the one you used for the registration at the university). The password will be sent to Your email.
In the attachment I am sending you instructions on how to do it - the website is in Polish so I translated it for you.

In case of problems with the logging in, please contact our IT department to ticket@upjp2.edu.pl

What is the USOSweb service for students?

Thanks to the website, each student can:

  • check the classes for which he was enrolled in a given semester as well as the names and titles of teachers

  • check the grades and credits received by them

  • obtain information on the subjects taught by the University

  • obtain other information regarding the course of studies.

Each student has an account in the Office 365 service, and gains access to it by logging in to their domain account (first name. last name@student.upjp2.edu.pl). Accounts are generated by the University, everyone received a login, password and a link with instructions for logging in to a private e-mail address (provided during recruitment). To log in: visit https://www.office.com/  enter your login @student.upjp2.edu.pl and a temporary password you received in the e-mail. Press login. Then set the new password according to guidelines.

The most important applications:

  1. 1200px-microsoft_office_outlook_2018presentsvg.png Outlook - e-mail service in the student.upjp2.edu.pl domain - https://outlook.office.com/ At this address, we log into our university e-mail address.
  2. oip.jpg Microsoft Teams - the platform on which they will be held in the semester - https://teams.microsoft.com/

In addition to the Microsoft platform, some forms of classes can be conducted on the Moodle e-learning platform (e.g. Library training) - https://ekursy.cyfronet.pl/ We log into it with the same data as on the USOSweb account. Immediately after logging in, the items, courses or training to which we are assigned will be displayed on the home page - then it is enough to just follow the instructions of the instructors

If You ever find yourself on a Polish website that does not offer English version, please remember that:

  • Zaloguj” się is for “log in” (buttons)
  • Hasło” is for password

If you need more information or you find these guidelines unclear, please contact the project coordinator.
